Artivism Projects

The Theater of Change builds its work around projects identified by organizations involved in ongoing activism work and led by people directly affected by the injustices they seek to change. These organizations enter TOC with the intention to use artivism as a strategy for advancing their activism goals, and they provide the focus for the projects developed through the TOC process

Each Theater of Change workshop culminates in a presentation of work. Through the process of generating work together, the project groups solidify relationships and ideas that can be implemented in long-term, sustainable artivism work. Through sharing work with the full group, the whole Theater of Change community solidifies a shared understanding of artivism, learns about connections across project areas, and identifies opportunities for participants to continue their involvement in the artivism projects.
