Solutions not Suspensions

Created in support of the Solutions Not Suspensions campaign, this short play was written to provide audiences with a new view into the challenge of school discipline. By deeply exploring the unmet needs of so-called “problem students,” the play illustrated solutions that could be implemented to better support students and manage classroom behavior without suspensions. This play was designed to be performed for constituents in the districts of target legislators and asked the audience to sign petitions and postcards to mail to their representatives to encourage them to support the Solutions Not Suspensions bill.
