Deal or No Deal, Non-Profit Edition

Created in collaboration with Haven Respite, this Theater of Change project group decided to create a staged game show to solicit emergency support for Haven’s mission during the Covid-19 pandemic. By utilizing the framework of “Deal or No Deal” this project highlighted the perils and pitfalls that nonprofits navigate in order to fundraise for crucial programming and offers viewers the chance to change the rules and reimagine how nonprofit fundraising should work. This piece was performed at Haven Respite’s gala before the paddle raise to re-frame donors’ concept of how and why they give.
